Saafehouse has achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification, the internationally recognised standard for information security management.
The certification was awarded following an independent audit conducted by Tempo Audits, and is issued under UKAS accreditation. It confirms that Saafehouse operates a comprehensive Information Security Management System (ISMS) governing how we protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of client data across our people, processes and technology.
For the fund managers, administrators and custodians who rely on Saafehouse, the certification provides independent, third-party assurance that rigorous security controls are embedded throughout the platform — from access management and encryption to monitoring, resilience and incident response.
“Saafehouse approached certification with genuine rigour and a security-first mindset from the outset. Our audit found a robust, well-documented management system and strong controls operating consistently across the business. Achieving ISO/IEC 27001 at launch is a clear signal of the standard Saafehouse intends to uphold for its clients.”
Rob Hall, CEO, Tempo Audits
“Our clients trust us with some of their most sensitive data, and that trust has to be earned and independently verified. Achieving ISO/IEC 27001 before we go live — audited by Tempo Audits — sets the security bar for everything we build, and it’s a milestone the whole team is proud of.”
Stephen Doherty, CEO, Saafehouse
Achieving certification ahead of service commencement reflects our security-first approach to building modern custody infrastructure — a foundation we will continue to strengthen as the platform grows.
